Students participate in various mock emergency drills such as fire, duck-and-cover, lock-down and classroom evacuations. These are conducted periodically throughout the year to insure students and staff are familiar with emergency procedures and can respond safely in an emergency situation.

(Signal: Fire Alarm Sound) 

The alarm will be sounded without your knowing in advance. You are to walk quickly, but orderly, down the stairs and out of the building. Normally, the evacuation area is the playground. But all the students have to listen to the respective teacher’s instruction. All students will remain in quietly the evacuation area until directed to return to the respective classroom. Students will follow their teacher and return to the classrooms quietly and in an orderly fashion.
